Volunteer Spotlight: Rebecca Redelmeier

Name: Rebecca Redelmeier

Town: Originally from Toronto, Canada but now lives in Medford while studying at Tufts University

Profession: Majoring in English and Computer Science at Tufts University

Involved since: Winter 2017

Rebecca tells us:

I’m a rising Junior at Tufts university studying English and Computer Science and am the Communications Director of the Tufts Mountain Club. I help lead programs for Students of the Fells, and write articles and blog posts for the Friends of the Fells, including a recent feature about the 1999 MIT Geodesic Observatory located in the Fells. I love bridging my interest in writing and journalism with my passion for the outdoors. One day, I hope to be able to do this kind of work professionally!

What kinds of questions would you like us to ask our “Spotlighters”?  Do you have any nominations for future volunteers to feature?  Comment here, or email friends@fells.org or message us on our Facebook feed.  Would you like to get more involved yourself?  Here’s the link:  Click here to let us know how you can help.
