We’re working to make the Middlesex Fells a welcome nature space for everyone.
In our 2025-2028 Action Plan, Friends of the Fells board and staff outline the importance of building a community of care for the Fells that prioritizes equitable access.
Since 2022, we’ve formed a Diversity Task Force to help guide our DEI (diversity, equity, and inclusion) efforts and are working with volunteers to provide free walks in the Fells that explicitly welcome people from diverse backgrounds.
We know we have a lot of work to do to make the Fells more accessible and welcoming to everyone. We are researching, listening, and learning.
