Finding Their Fells

The Students of the Fells have had a busy season!  Earlier in the school year, they supported us with the COASTSWEEP, partnered on the Eagle Eye Hike-a-Thon, visited the Arnold Arboretum, represented at various fairs and festivals, co-organized the Fall for the Fells Festival, and practiced outdoor skills with Tufts Mountain Club, all in addition to their weekly sessions.

Here’s some of what they’ve been up to just in the last month or so:

At the Outdoor Leadership Campout at Harold Parker

“I love getting people to realize the Fells is right in their own back yard.”

“I never knew we had these amazing spaces to close to me.”

Learning about the Cascade

“I love how we have this community of people who care about the natural world like I do. I don’t know what I would do without this group; it showed me how to get outdoors again.  This is just an amazing club!”

Through hiking the Cross Fells Trail

“I love how I get to know kids from all different schools.”
