Join us for this year’s Fall for the Fells Trail Race & Family Fun Fest on November 4, 2018 at Medford High School. We are excited to bring back the 10k and 5k races through the beautiful Lawrence Woods! Along with the races, enjoy a fall family festival featuring food trucks, kids’ fun runs, the Medford Family Network, Knucklebones, scavenger hunts, informal trail walks, and more.
Active Friends of the Fells members receive special member rates — membership not only provides you a discount, it makes you part of a larger group supporting and preserving the majestic Middlesex Fells Reservation. Sign up for membership HERE. Any doubts? Click here to read our “Top Ten Reasons to get a Fells Membership!”
The first 100 registrants will receive a free “Fall for the Fells” t-shirt.
We’re also happy to announce that we will have a beer garden for the 21&over crowd. Medford Brew Company will be pouring the brews! Come by and relax with a post-run beer.
The event begins directly behind Medford High School (489 Winthrop Street in Medford) at noon. The 5K starts directly at 1 p.m., the 10k starts at 2 p.m, and the Fun Run begins at 2:05.
“Fall for the Fells” will take place rain or shine! Lightning will delay the races.
We always love help from volunteers! If you’re interested in helping out, please email Volunteer Director Lindsay at email@example.com. Want to volunteer and run in the race? That’s awesome! Volunteers can run for free. Just mention it to Lindsay in your email and she’ll get you the access code (space is limited).
