Students of the Fells–Amazing Fells Race Kick Off!

Students of the Fells–Amazing Fells Race Kick Off!

Please come join the Students of the Fells for their Winter Kick Off event on Saturday, December 10th at Flynn Rink in Medford, MA.   Student volunteers from the Tufts Mountain Club, the SoF staff, and the 5 communities surrounding the Fells will join together and “race” through the Fells completing an interactive scavenger hunt.  No experience in navigation required!  Just bring warm clothes, good winter shoes, and an enthusiasm for the outdoors.  A light lunch will be provided for participants along with a chance to meet the SoF staff and find out more about future SoF adventures. Students from all towns grade 9 and above are welcome! You need not be affiliated with a current school organization to join us (although groups are welcome)–come alone or with friends!

This introductory event led by Friends of the Fells High School Director (and Medford High School social studies teacher) Nik Tower will showcase the model for the successful Mustangs of the Fells program at Medford High School as we stage ourselves for expansion.  Come see what all the buzz is about!
